Our History

Funeral company Coorevits was founded in 1947 by Jozef Coorevits. He mainly took care of funerals in Hoeilaart at that time. Today, nearly 80 years later, Funeral Center Coorevits has evolved from a classic funeral company into a modern funeral service provider. Our services extend throughout the wide region between Brussels, Leuven, and Waver.

In those 80 years, a lot has changed. Where it used to be a very local and uniform service from home care, to the parish church, and then to the cemetery, today's funeral service provider offers a completely tailored funeral. One thing has always remained the same: our attention to the deceased and the family is still central.

We cherish our tradition and experience. This helps us support families during the most difficult moments in their lives. That is why we do everything ourselves, from the first contact to aftercare. Our people guide you with personal attention and commitment, without being dependent on a large chain. We still associate our name today with the same care and involvement that has characterized our family for the past 80 years.
